Don of the Dead by Casey Daniels

This delightful mystery is set in Cleveland, OH. The main character,Pepper Martin, is a cemetery tour guide. After a fall and a bump on the head, Pepper finds she can see ghosts, and in particular, the ghost of the deceased mafia Don Gus Scarpetti. After some convincing from Gus, Pepper agrees to help him discover the truth about who really had him killed.


If you like mysteries, I recommend you check this one out. The storyline is filled with just enough intrigue to hook you, but not so much that you feel the need for a break from the suspense (I read it in one sitting). I enjoyed the colorful characters and the pace of the story kept me interested.
